This error is caused when scrrun.dll is not properly registered, which can occur in rare instances when Background Boss is uninstalled and reinstalled.  To correct this problem, do the following:

  • Click Start | Run
  • Type regsvr32 "C:\windows\system32\scrrun.dll"
  • You may need to change the name of the Windows directory if yours is not "Windows"
  • Click OK
  • You will receive a confirmation message that "DLLRegisterServer was successful"
